Walker Funeral Home helped me so much. I was concerned about the high price of funerals. I've seen all the TV commercials for insurance saying that funerals cost $7,500 not counting the cemetery or grave marker. Thank God for Walker. I was able to afford a beautiful funeral. There is a difference. I checked prices everywhere - Spring Grove, Thompson Hall Jordan, Paul Young, JC Battle, Renfo. I called everywhere checking prices. I was so surprised that the nicest funeral home of all was the most reasonably priced. I got everything I wanted and at the least expense of them all. I highly recommend Herb Walker and the Walkers. They care and they don't charge you a fortune. Their name sums it up nicely "Known for excellence and trusted for value".

Walker Funeral Home handled the service of both my parents, William Parker (2010) & Dale Parker (2018). Their professionalism, service, compassion, "patience," and quality was exceptional.

Losing a loved one is an emotional challenging experience, in my case both of my parents departed this life unexpectedly. The Walker Funeral Home team provided me guidance through the transition. For over thirty years here in Cincinnati, I've counseled numerous families at many funeral homes in this area, and I soon discovered there is a difference. When my brother in law passed away last month, I chose Walker Funeral Home to handle the arrangements. For years, I'd seen the the financial burden that often accompanies funerals. As a minister I just didn't have thousands of dollars to spend. Walker made it clear that spending money on a funeral and showing how much we care is unrelated. Thank you so much for the wonderful care you provided to my family. We first called the largest funeral home in Cincinnati and they charged us over $900 just for the embalming and transportation. You (Walker Funeral Home) provided the whole service, beautiful casket, and limousine for LESS THAN the large funeral home charged us for the removal and embalming. Thank you for giving us credit for the embalming and only charging us $775 for your service. You are a true blessing to the community and give so much to the community without overcharging us. I can't thank you enough ever. Thank you so very much for taking such great care of us, my mother, and my family. Walker is wonderful and I would not call anyone else. Thank you so very much. I love the Walker funeral directors for not taking advantage of us during our time of need. The other funeral director overcharged me and tried to play it off as if they were doing me a blessing with their service.

Dad grew up with Herb Walker and our family lived beside the Walkers in Colerain Towship for years. My brother and I played basketball at Northwest with Herb and Chris. Walker Funeral Home performed flawlessly and beautifully. Our expectations were exceeded at every step of the way. My mother was directed and guided carefully by Dawn and my dad looked so good despite the long battle he had with cancer. For my family there is only one funeral home in Cincinnati and that is Walker. I think Walker is a true Angel to the community and when people really need help the Walker family will step up to the challenge and help in anyway. The Walker family doesn't just give lipservice to "being part of the community" but they "Walk the Walk". Walker has done a lot for the communty and that is reflected in the mutual love between Walker and the community. Walker is good for Cincinnati.
