Donald was born in Maysville, Kentucky, son of the late Russell and Mabel (Burchett) Hamilton.  He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Maxine Hamilton (nee Kinney) and his children: Donald Hamilton, Jr, Donna Ann (Lonnie) Hale, Dora (Bruce) Gordon, Daniel Hamilton, Debbie (Michael) Martin, Pete (Veronica) Scott, Kathy (Jody) Abner, Diana Scott (John Beard), Pamela (Tim) Sickman, Barbara (James (Tut)) Tenhundfeld.  He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Hamilton and grandchild Priscilla Scott.

Donald loved coaching baseball and was proud of his Dunham teams and the boys he coached.  He loved bowling, salmon fishing, skeet shooting and hunting.  But most of all, he loved his wife and kids and taking care of his family.

He suddenly passed on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the age of 82.
