Cynthia Ann Wright, age 66, passed away peacefully August 10th, 2019 after a long illness. She was born August 8th, 1953 in Cincinnati Ohio to Louise (Marshall) and William Dennis She married her longtime friend and love, William Wright in 1981 who all preceded her in death.

Cynthia also known as “Peaches” or to her siblings as “Cynthie” was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, niece and friend. She loved to laugh and always found the humor in life. Cynthia was the strongest God-fearing woman you will ever meet. She survived many illnesses including open heart surgery, cancer, leg amputation and strokes with strength courage and humor.

Cynthia grew up in Cincinnati and attended Hughes High School. For a short time, she moved to Atlanta and returned to Cincinnati where she attended the University of Cincinnati. Cynthia was an avid reader, gardener, and loved listening to music. Her favorite artists were Teddy Pendergrass, The Gap Band and Stevie Wonder.  She loved to walk in marathons and try strange and exotic foods. Above all she was a Die-hard Bengals fan. She and her husband William were known for throwing legendary Bengals parties.

For many years, Cynthia worked at Central Trust Bank (PNC). She later retired due to health issues and devoted her time to helping out with her grandchildren who were the highlight of her life.

Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Cynthia’s sister Angela Dennis preceded her in death. Cynthia is survived by her children Ras Jahbo Tafari ( Lisa); and  La’Tonja Moore (Derick); Step children; Karla Wright; and Charles Wright Sr. (Michelle); her brother Theodore S.
