Le'Shawnte Keon Davis

Le'Shawnte Keon Davis entered this world on November 9, 1982. She departed peacefully on March 4, 2020 at the age of 37. Le'Shawnte was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jernice Davis and William Flanigan.

She attended Clifton and Silverton Elementary Schools as well as Aiken High School. Le'Shawnte "Tay" as she was affectionately known by her friends, worked as a casual worker with the Postal Service. She was also employed as a security guard at Deaconess Hospital. She loved spending quality time with family and close friends, especially her youngest nephew who she called her "Dootie Bootie". There was never a dull moment with anyone that she came in contact with. Ms. Davis will truly be missed.

Le'Shawnte was preceded in death by her father, William Flanigan; grandfather, Nathaniel Miller; uncle, Titus Davis; and aunt, Shirley Bohannon.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Jernice Davis; sisters, LaRicka Simmons, and JonAsia Davis; niece, Sa'Niyah Simmons; nephews, Rico and Amare Simmons; grandmother, Jennie Davis; uncles, James Davis (Vennie), and Ernest Flanigan; aunts, Lisa Davis, and Betty Middleton, her significant other, Derrick Whittle; close friends, Christy Johnson, Precious Dowling, and Theresa Roberson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at the Walker- 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
