Gwendolyn Bolling

Gwendolyn Bolling, age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born September 30, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Father, William T. Bailey, and Mother, Maude Bailey. She leaves behind: Siblings - Violet Bailey, Augustine Shannon, Sandra Miller, and Teddy Bailey; two children - David Bolling and William Bolling; and Grandchildren - Sierra, Blake, (Lil) Dave Bolling, Awa, Priya, Conrad, William Jr. Gwen found a church home where she was ordained as Church Mother and Pastor’s Aid in 2014 at the MHC of God under the leadership of Pastor Jon L. Stephens. “She Inspired our Fellowship in Fervent Prayer, Praise, and Bible Study. Mother Loved to Worship and Dance before GOD! This she did even though her body declined Yet Her Heart and Mind Grew Strong,” recalls Pastor Stephens. Gwen devoted her life to helping people. She worked as an LPN for over 40 years. She was actively involved in a Church of the Advent Women’s knitting group. In 2004 she was featured on the cover of Healthy Foundations Magazine for being a part of and leading Tai Chi classes at Bethesda Hospital. Above all, she loved playing games whether they be video games or card games. Always super competitive.  She’d never let you beat a high score she had and would continuously remind you that she was the best at any given game that you played with her. Gwen will be laid to rest on 9/24/2021. Funeral Services will start promptly at 10 am at Dayton National Cemetery. 4400 West 3rd Street 45428. 3 Words to Sum up Her Life 'Trusted in God'
