Donnell Maszo Steele

Donnell Maszo Steele was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 17, 1991, to Juanita Steele and Donnell Washington. The last church he attended as a member was Second Trinity Baptist Church. Steele attended Taft High School where he was a 2009 graduate and played football. He also had a love for other sports. He worked various jobs with his last job being a health aid worker. 

Steele was a loving caring person. He was always the life of the party. He kept you laughing and had a heart of gold. 

He would do anything for anybody. He was very family-oriented. His determination, ambition, and drive are motivational.
The love for his children was beyond measure. God created obstacles but Steele found no excuses when it came down to his three beautiful children. There's no mountain or river that he wouldn't move or drain for his family, children, and true friends. Steele had a love for dogs as well. He was a good person in and out. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eula Steele; grandfathers, Manuel Steele, and Cornell Lawhorn; uncle, Thaddeus Steele and Jerry Steele; and aunt, Doris Taylor. 

Steele leaves to cherish his memory to his parents, Juanita Steele and Donnell Washington; grandmother, Edna Lawhorn; brothers, Seth Steele, and Semaj Steele; (Queena), sisters, Deshawna Steele, Donnisha Washington, Donnyela Washington, and Mayzeo Washington; his fiance, Kiara Surles; mother-in-law, Carrie Florence; children, Donnell Maszo Steele Jr., Italee Florene, and TyriQ Florence; aunts, Daisy Kirksey, Detra Steele, Corine Wickersham, Diane Redd and Betty Harris (Roger); uncles, Mackolds (Liz), and Melvin Steele (Karen); nieces, Jariah Steele, Zi'hiar Steele, Samiyah Steele, KyJa Steele, Aubrey Steele, and Sa'Nyla Steele; best friends, Martha Bohannon (PT), Darrell Quarles Jr. (DJ) and a host of cousins and friends

Visitation is from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the House of Joy, 3220 Central Parkway, Cincinnati  (45225).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
