Booker "Butch" Savage, Jr.

Booker (Butch) Savage Jr., age 67, passed away on October 9, 2020.

Booker Savage Jr. was born to Mary A. Savage (nee Collins) and Booker Savage Sr. on December 31, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH.  He graduated from Hughes High School. He retired from Chesapeake Manufacturing.  He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather. He was a very sharp dresser, smooth talker, and dancer. He was a ladies’ man, he loved to play pool, watch sports, play the lottery and bet on the horse races at River Downs.

Booker is preceded in death by Booker Savage Sr., Mary A. Henry (nee Collins), Coletta Henry.

Booker is survived by his daughters: Kimberly and Lekeisha Ivery;  sisters: Patricia Tompkins and Carolyn Henry;  grandchildren: Dante Guilford, Desiah Goodson, Charles Adams, Briana Bazel, and Brandon Williams Jr.;  nieces and nephew: T’wanda Tompkins, Tanisha (Vito) Hill, Taressa Grissom, Deshonte Grissom and a host of other family and friends. 

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the Bethel Baptist Church,  2712 Alms Place, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
