Antonio Edward Thomas

Antonio Edward Thomas affectionately known as "Tonio or Tone" was born March 3, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Sandra Thomas and Osby "Ed" Pates. He was later adopted in Love and life by Lisa Boykins in March 2016. 

Antonio received his GED and later attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. He read a lot and found a connection and peace with God through the bible. He said that one of his favorite bible verses was Philippian 4:13. "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me". Antonio loved to travel and visit new places.  He loved making music and dancing. Tonio was the "Life of the Party."  Antonio was a very vibrant person, he "wore his heart on his sleeve." He always wanted his loved ones to know how much he loved them and he would do anything for them. Antonio will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and beautiful smile.

September 21, 2020 Antonio was taken too soon.

Antonio was preceded in death by his father Osby "Ed" Pates, and his loving grandmother Alberta Pates "Grandma Boo".

He leaves to cherish his memory: "Momma Bear" Sandra Thomas (Jerry), momma Lisa Boykins (Emery); grandmother, Mary Green (William); his siblings, Latoya, Delecia (Evan), Aaron, Mark, Brian, Brandon, Kesley, Kay, Kaliah, Emery Jr., Eamhani, Elijah Juan, and Edrien; a daughter in love, Cierra Christian and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
