Zella Mae Harris peacefully passed away from this life on the morning of January 26th in her home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 75 years old. Zella Mae was surrounded and supported by family during the last days of her life. Zella was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Louis and Octavia Gooden August 23, 1943.

Zella was baptized as a symbol of dedication to Jehovah God. For many years she joined Brother Gooden and Brother Forney before sunrise in the field service work. She leaves a legacy of love for Jehovah zeal and enthusiasm for life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Octavia and Louis Gooden; her son Martine Gooden; grandson, Lionel Hill; brother, Robert Gooden and sister, Wanda Woolfork.

Zella is survived by Anthony Rankins, Catherine Watkins;  eight children, Beverly Harris, Sandra Harris, Charlotte Harris, Demetrious Shield, Louis Hutchinson, Diane Hurt, Lemetrious Shields, and Arletta Wander Harris; 45 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the Walker Funeral Home,  2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
