Mr. Zebedee Edwards was born in Perry County, Alabama, to Martha Battle and Luther King, who preceded him in death. He departed this life on Sunday, August 9, 2026. He will be remembered by family and friends, who called him Zeb.

Zeb graduated from East Perry High School in Alabama. He moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, at a young age and worked various jobs until finding his place at Consolidated Metals Products, Inc., where he worked as a Coating Line Supervisor until November 2020.

Zeb married the love of his life, Pearl Lena Robinson, and they shared more than 20 years together before her passing in 2011. Zeb loved fishing, golfing, cooking, cars, his hats, listening to the blues, gardening, baseball, and football (“Roll Tide” and “Who Dey”)!

Zeb knew Christ in his own way and believed prayer changed things. His smile will be remembered forever. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Edward.

Zeb leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Martha Battle; his sister, Ernetta (Albert Sr.) Blair; his nephew, Albert Jr.; his niece, Hannah Blair; his two stepsons, Eldorado (Melissa) Robinson and Romeo Robinson, who gave him the opportunity to be a grandfather to Ellissa Robinson, Raymond Robinson, and Romeo Robinson Jr.; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves his best friend, Steven “Chief” Boseman.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
