**Yvette Goines** was born on October 6, 1963, to the proud parents of Clifford Wheeler and Theresa Ann Wheeler.

Yvette spent her early years growing up in Avondale with her aunts and uncles. The family moved to Mt. Healthy, where she spent most of her school years in the Mt. Healthy School District. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1982.

Yvette married Tony Goines on February 18, 1984. They had two sons, Tony, Jr. and Donté. Through Donté and his wife, Ria, Yvette was blessed with three grandchildren: Micah, Alina, and Elisha.

For twelve years, Yvette worked for Cincinnati Public Schools as a sign language interpreter.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Tony Goines Sr.; sons, Tony Goines, Jr. and Donté Goines (Ria Goines); three grandchildren, Micah, Alina, and Elisha; her mother, Theresa Wheeler; sister, Yvonne Rivers (Michael); niece, Diamond Rivers; nephew, Demetrius Rivers; and many aunts and uncles, other family and friends.

Now her spirit can rest in the hands of the Most High God.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231). Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
