Interment Spring Grove Cemetery Space 8 Lot 1236 Section 132 MOUNT AIRY - Staff at the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office are mourning the sudden death of Assistant Prosecutor Yvette Simone Boykin. She died Tuesday at Christ Hospital while having a sickle cell crisis, according to her sister, Michele Smith of Bond Hill. The cause of death has not been determined, but Ms. Boykin had been living with sickle cell disease - a genetic condition that leads to the deprivation of oxygen in tissues that causes periodic painful episodes - since she was 5. She was diagnosed in June with breast cancer and underwent her final radiation treatment two weeks ago.
