Obituary

Yahweh Elohim blessed Y oshua and Tsipporah Yisrael with a beautiful baby boy on January 14, 2002. Elkana was spirited, giving to young and old, keenly observant, full of life, a light from Yahweh to his family. Elkana's vibrant personality showed and touched everyone whom he came into contact. Elkana your Aba, Mommy and Sisters will miss you nibbling our ears while you fall asleep. Elkana has enhanced and made joyous, the lives of his parents Y oshua and Tsipporah Yisrael, also his three sisters Ariel, TeQowa, and Qeturah Yisrael. Elkana left behind his sunny smile with his great-grandma Della Stewart, his two grandmas, Barbara Ann Eldridge and Alma Jean Robinson and great auntie, Faye McAfee. Elkana warmed the hearts of his five aunties, Cassandra Hunter, Charllotte Jones, Deborah Williams, Cynthia Robinson, and Veda Robinson. Elkana also warmed the hearts of his six uncles, Henry Jones, Harold Hunter, Sean Lunsford, Reginald Wilson, Cedric Robinson and Michael Robinson. Elkana had twelve cousins, James, Joshua, Johnathan, Hunter, Shamyra, TeSeanna, Aseanti, and Sean Lunsford, Valda Mercer, Henry James Campbell, Arthur, Aaaron, and Vanessa Williams. Elkana learned about Yahweh from the Mowreh's at the House of Yisrael and Shalom from the Brothers and Sisters of the House ofYisrael. Elkana, Son, listen to your Aba. My breath just goes away slowly and deeply when I think about you baby. When you greet me at the door screaming and running to me saying 'Aba, Aba' (which means father in Hebrew). You would come crashing into me, squeezing me tightly, and kissing me hard. While you were here I've learned great and new things, to be a husband to your mama, a son to your grandmama's, a father to your three sisters, a friend to our people Yisrael and a servant to our Elohim Yahweh. Son, Yahweh gave me more strength, greater wisdom, deeper love and favor in his eyes, in exchange for you. I love you, I miss you, Aba Elkana, Mommy's baby, you touched me deeply. You had a calm and bright spirit. You wooed me with your intelligence. Remember watching Teletubbies, Barney and Sesame Street. I use to laugh at you because you learned the characters on those shows. I will miss you doing your own little remix of our Bible Class songs like 'Help Us Yah', 'Righteous, Yah Is Glorious, He is Our King', 'Way Out' and 'Nobody Knows'. Mommy thanks Yahweh for you and for the ability to help teach you with your Aba. I will hold onto your tight hugs and net kisses forever. It comforts me knowing that you were so precious that Yahweh wanted you for himself HalleluYah love you Kana, Mommy
