IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Willie Frank
Williams, Jr.
February 13, 1943 – April 24, 2025
Willie Frank Williams Jr. was born on February 6, 1943, in Ocilla, Georgia, but spent the majority of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the son of the late Irean White Williams and Willie Frank Williams Sr.
Affectionately known as "Frankie" by his family, he grew up in the West End and attended Taft High School, where he graduated. He was an exceptional football player, and many believed he would pursue college football on scholarship. However, Frankie chose to serve his country by joining the U.S. Army.
Frankie worked for Stroh's Beer Company until its closure in 1985. He then worked for U.S. Shoes (Nine West) for fifteen years, followed by employment at the Hillman Group factory until his retirement.
Frankie was known for his kind spirit and great sense of humor. He loved cracking jokes, laughing, and spending time with family. He also enjoyed watching football and classic cowboy shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his younger brother, Timothy Williams; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Bobo and Eugene White.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Lolo Williams; his children—son Rodney McCree (Leslie) and daughter Shay McCree; five stepchildren; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annie Bobo and Pearlean White; one brother, William "Billy" Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
