Willie Walker was born May 25th 1921 to Spencer Walker and Eula Gillespie in Richmond,  Kentucky.

His early years were spent first as a farm hand outside of Richmond then later working at the Ruffner Hotel in Charleston,  West Virginia. Willie was in the Army from 1941-1945 where he was a driver on the Famous "Redball Express". His travels took him all throughout England, France, Belgium and Germany. After leaving the Army he initially settled in Lorain Ohio and worked at a pipe manufacturing plant. By the 1950's Willie had settled in Cincinnati Ohio, first working for the McGregor Golf Company and later The Formica Corporation where he worked 30 years. Willie was an avid Bowler, Golfer and Fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. After retirement he also worked at Mount Airy Forest and Avon Golf Course. Willie was first married to Georgie Davis, together they had 2 children, (Mary Ann McDonald and Charles Davis). He then married Wilma Joyce Walker, together they had Kristopher Walker. His final marriage was to Carrie McLemore.

He is survived by countless grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by all that knew him.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Monday, October 28, 2019, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 11825 Pippin Road, Colerain Township, Ohio 45231.
