Willie Joe Steward, age 84, of West Chester, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020  in West Chester, Ohio.  He was born September 17, 1936, to the late  Ruby and James Steward. He was a U.S. Army veteran of 26 years and Postal Service of 20 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife and daughter Gwendolyn I. Steward and Charquinta Y. Steward of West Chester Oh and a host in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Higher Ground House of Favor, 1391 E. Crescentville Road, Cincinnati  (45246).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery, 440 W 3rd Street, Dayton, 45428.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
