Willie Garnell Bobbs was born January 18, 1949 in Abbeville, South Carolina. He departed this life on October 8, 2024. Willie was educated in Cincinnati Public Schools, graduating from Taft High School. He attended the University of Cincinnati and Xavier, where he studied business administration. Willie also served in the Air Force, but was later honorably discharged because of a heart condition. At an early age, Willie was baptized and was an avid follower of Christ. Willie met and married Cheryl M. White. The two were together 33 years, married for 27 years and had two loving children together. Willie was a hard-working and caring man who took pride and providing for his family. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Sammie L. Bobbs, Sr. and Jannie V. Bobbs, a son, Kelly Jordan, brothers Zachary T. Bobbs and Sammie L. Bobbs, Jr. Willie leaves to cherish his memory wife Cheryl, brother Christopher Sr. (Mattie), sisters Johnnie (Donald), Barbara, children Sydney, Cedryck, Antoinette (Tony), Sade, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
