IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Willie Lee

Barfield

July 23, 1974 – July 26, 2025

Obituary

Willie Lee Barfield was born on July 23, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Janice Martin and George Beasley. He was called home to be with the lord on July 26, 2025.

Willie was raised in Walnut Hills and attended Windsor Elementary and Withrow High School.

Willie had a huge heart and a passion for helping others, although he was no pushover. He was both a lover and a fighter. He loved his children and left an everlasting impression on everyone he came in contact with. He would attend church services from time to time. Sometimes he was Muslim and Christian.

He was a jack of all trades. He could not only fix your car but also hook your music up for a fee. He would also find you a car or sell you one if needed. However, his most prized job was having a storefront in Walnut Hills to serve and give back to the community.

Over the years, Willie has made an everlasting impression not only in the community of Walnut Hills, but all over the city. No matter where you went in the city of Cincinnati, everyone knew Willie D. and had a story to tell.

Willie had an adventurous spirit. Traveling the world and making memories with friends and family. Florida and Jamaica were among his favorite destinations.

A gifted cook, he loved preparing meals for others. But what he cherished most was spending time with his kids and family. He loved playing basketball, dominoes, and spades, going fishing, traveling, and most of all eating Mama and Jean's home-cooked meals.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Janice Martin and George Beasley. Sister Mattie Barfield, and his beloved daughter Ty'ionna Barfield.

Willie is survived by his siblings Joseph (Jamie) Martin, Darnell Martin, Rosie Moon and Rodney Haley. His children Willie Barfield Jr., Willie Smith, Miquan Barfield, Wilmauni Barfield, Jameco Barfield, Donnae Bess, Decoria Barfield, Rayquan Conwell, My'Kaylah Spears, Jah'Mir Hunter, Anaya Harris Winbush, William Barfield, Airionna Barfield, Ty'ion Barfield and Millie-Ann Mckee. Uncle Michael Beasley, and a host of adoring nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and an enormous number of family and friends.

Willie D. leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, strength, and kindness. His memory will be engraved in our hearts forever.

Willie's unwavering love and generosity touched countless lives. His legacy will continue in the hearts of all who witnessed the greatness of the love of "Willie D. Walnut Hills".
