Obituary

Celebration Of Life For William 'Sonny' Thomas 1932-2011 William Thomas was born August 10, 1932 to the late Florence Davis and Eugene Thomas in Greensboro Alabama. Departed this life on July 20,2011 at the Mercy Hospital Mt. Airy in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was known to his family and friends as 'Sonny'. Sonny was Baptist at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Greensboro , Alabama at and early age. After Moving to Cincinnati, Ohio he joined First Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Edward Jones. Later he moved his membership to Second Baptist Church under the leadership of the Late Rev. R. E. Shephard. He retired from Trinity Industries after 32 years of service. He . loved to work in his yard. He always took pride in a well kept lawn and his vegetable garden. He shared vegetables with so many people. He always said he love to see things grow. Sonny was a quite person but he always was ready to tell everybody 'God is Good' thru all of his illness he would say god had been good to him. He leaves to mourn his passing; his devoted wife of 31 years Louise Thomas; his daughters, Traci Hill, Vivian Allen one son-in-law John Allen; sons, William Turner, Eugene Marshall, Terry Moore; four step-daughters, Selina Rone, Sophia Harris, Soirvon Harris; Sibble Brown (Kevin), one step son, Lionel Harris; one brother -in- law Clarence White Sr.; one cousins he loved like a brother and a sister Charlie Davis and Willie Bea St. Clair; ten grandchildren seventeen step grandchildren eight step great grandchildren a host of cousins niece, nephew relatives and friends, very close friends, Barbara Davis, Charles Etters of Atlanta, GA, Alfonso Floyd. 'Wee not for me, the Suffering is over.
