Scott, Sr.
July 4, 1959 – July 10, 2025
William (Bud) Scott was the son of the late Verna Mae and Frank Scott Sr. He was born on July 4, 1959, in Newbern, Alabama. He departed his life on July 10, 2025, at 4:15 am in Cincinnati, Ohio.
William was a graduate of Sunshine High School in Newbern, Alabama. He confessed his love for Christ before moving to Cincinnati in 1979. He wed Angie Scott in June of 1991. Raised in the church since birth, he continued his membership with El Bethel in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He retired from Podcast Metals and was a part of the Cincinnati Van Club. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, traveling, spending time with his kids, and going back home to Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanecia' Johnson. His late brothers, Frank Scott II, Johnnie Lee Scott, Dwain Scott, Sylvestor Scott, Joseph Scott, James Scott, Ralph Scott, and one sister, Clara Mae.
He leaves to cherish four children, Antonio (Tony) Johnson, Christopher (Mikie) Johnson, William (lil. man) Scott Jr., and Brandon Scott, all of Cincinnati, Ohio. One sister, Tammy Thomas of Greensboro, Alabama, and Two Brothers, Vernon Scott M.D (Lou), Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Bobby Scott (Fannie), Newbern, Alabama. 18 Grandbabies and 1 Great Grandbaby. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation is from 9:30 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the House of Praise, 8780 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
