Celebrating the Life and Spirit of William "Billy" King William (Billy) King was born November 21th, 1932 in Cincinnati, where he lived until 2015 spending his final, loving and joyful three years with his son, Dr. Vincent Guinn. On February 21, 2018, William King rejoined our creator. Preceding William King in death are his father and mother Hardy (Jack) King and Nazarene (Nee Bell) King, adopted brother, Leroy King and his only niece Maria King. William is survived by: His sisters Virginia Riley and JoAnn Warmack, and brother Jack King of Cincinnati, Ohio. His three wonderful children: Vivian Henderson of Birmingham, Alabama, and Sons Vincent L. Guinn, MD of Columbus, Ohio and Donta Bennie of Cincinnati, Ohio. The legacy he leaves continues in the growth of his family which includes 9 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nephews and friends. William was in the army for a brief time and worked for the City of Cincinnati prior to opening his own business "Maxie's". He last worked for the Cincinnati Board of Education prior to retiring for the final time in 2012. William lived on the hill top in Walnut Hills for more than fifty years. He had a host of great neighbors and friend helping to watch over for him as he aged. Upon his illness he moved to Columbus, Ohio to be cared for by his loving son Vincent. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Evergreen Baptist Church, 704 Gholson Avenue, Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor David W. Goins, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. Tommy Warmack, Anthony King, Gerald Warmack, Chapman Riley, David Rhodes, Johnnie Childress will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Riley, Tom Neal, and Benny Burns.
