It is with deep sadness we announce the transition of Mrs. Wendy Denise Mattress-Royles, age 59, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.  Mrs. Wendy Denise Mattress-Royles was born on October 12, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was adopted by the late Betty Smith and Charles Kemp.

Wendy graduated from Princeton High School in Cincinnati, OH. After many years at Downlite Bedding Factory, she retired her position as manager.

She was preceded in death by her sister and a brother, Ricky Mattress.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, William Royles; one son, Gerald Royles; one grandson, Malakhi Royles, and his mother Ashley Jones; her brothers, Keith Springs and Zebulon Abul-Rahman, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
