Wayne Anthony Martin, age 57, entered eternal rest on November 21, 2013. Born on September 28, 1956 in Cincinnati, he was the 8th of 10 children. He grew up a natural born hustler, at age 7 he began selling shopping bags at Findlay Market to earn spending money. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and developed a love for music, nice clothes, the Lincoln Brougham and money. Known to most everyone as "Bad Whiskey", during his down time he wrote poetry and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Wayne married Donna Martin and from this union three children were born. He also had a daughter with his life-long companion, Freda Peak, with whom he spent his final years. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Cornell Wilson and Luvadie Martin; grandson, Joshua-Dwayne Anthony Martin; brothers, Norman, Paul and Hollis Martin; and sister, Peggy Martin. He leaves to cherish his memory: children, Tania (David) Mathias, Dwayne (Stephanie) Martin, Waynephonia Peak, and Aishia Martin; brother, Donald Martin; sisters, Pauella (Theodore) Thomas, Kay Crawford, Melvina Martin, and Annette Adams; twenty grandchildren, one great-grandson; honorary brother and best friend for life, Kurt Jones. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26 at Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati (45206). Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until hour of service.
