Wardell Lee Love was born on January 7, 1950 to the union of the late Berdell and Elsie Love (Stockdale) in Covington Ky. Wardell was affectionately known by family and friends. Being the six of  ten children he was preceded in death by his parents Berdell and Elsie Love, and brother Todd Allen Love.

Wardell received his education in Cincinnati Public Schools afterwards enlisting in the U.S Marines. Wardell was one who loved to fish, travel, and plan family events. Wardell was very outgoing and anywhere he went he was loved and would leave a lasting impression on anyone he met. Most importantly he loved his family and friends unconditionally, creating special bonds with them all.

Wardell leaves to cherish his fond memories the mothers of his children Andrea Love (Cookie), Charmaine Glover (Charm) and Patricia Banks. He leaves children, Kimbaya Grimes, Dwayne Banks, Fabian Davis, Todd Allen Love,Thomas Glover, Barbara Glover, Bonita Love, Derrick Love and Carlos Glover. Four surviving brothers, Littie, Biggie, Danny and Jerry Love. four sisters, Sheila, Selma, Faye and Maxine Love. 9 granddaughters, 20 grandsons, 37 great-grandkids and a host of other family members and friends. Wardell leaves his best friend, his brother of over 45 years James Byrd.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at the Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm.
