Wanda Leigh Thurmond-Hightower January 11, 1948 - May 29, 2023

Wanda Thurmond-Hightower, born on January 11, 1948,  departed this life on Monday May 29th 2023.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Walter Thurmond, her mother, Mary Ellen Thurmond, her younger brothers - Darryl and Walter "Nicky" Thurmond and her daughter, Leontine "Traci" Thurmond-Tolbert.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband James Hightower, one brother William "Terry" Thurmond (Gwen Thurmond); Her children Tammi Thurmond-Williams, Eric Thurmond, (Barbara Hall), Ora Lee Hightower; Her grandchildren, Sade Berry (James Berry), Inga Hall (Corey Hall), Karim Seifullah, Nneka Seifullah (Jordan Smith), Troy Williams, Ramesha Evans, Anthony Dyamond, Rahjeric Thurmond, Ronnella, Ronisha, ……. and her great grandchildren Aniyah, Tamara, Charlee, Mackenzie, Aizen, Railynn, Jahci, Aren, RyAnn, Zaya, Leontine, Kori Kaci & John.

Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Ebenezer Second Baptist Church, 10054 Dixie Avenue, Cincinnati (45215).
