Sculptor, Walter Clark Driesbach Jr, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Cincinnati, Ohio , Beloved husband of Susan Driesbach (nee Sanders), Loving father of Stephen (Patty VanBibber), Madeline (Greg Hansen) and Elizabeth (Craig Childress). Dear grandfather of Henley and Wyatt. Walter was the only son of the late Walter Clark Sr. and Katherine Howard Driesbach. He studied at the school of the Dayton Art Institute under Robert Koepnick. He also studied under Charles Cutler at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Mr. Driesbach's primary mediums were stone, wood and bronze. He has exhibited in numerous groups and solo shows. His work is held in public and private collections nationwide. He taught sculpture at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and in private classes for decades. Through his years of teaching, he influenced many artists who became successful sculptors in their own right. He enjoyed visiting local flea markets, watching football (especially the Bengals) and time with his family and friends. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am at Walker Funeral Home, 1015 E McMillan Street on Thursday, October 15, 2015.
