Vivian Lavern Craigmiles was born November 3rd, 1959, in Fulton, Atlanta to Ida Bell Thomas and Frank Williams. She departed this earthly world December 3rd, 2025.

As a young child, Vivian moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to join her older sisters, whom she loved very much. She was "Baby Sis," as they called her.

Anyone that knew Vivian knew that she was full of energy and her personality was unmatched. Despite any challenges she had, she loved the Lord and held close to her faith. In her spare time, Vivian loved to read and write Bible scriptures and inspirational poems. She also loved singing spiritual hymns.

Vivian's style of dress was just as vibrant as her personality. She loved pretty dresses, clothes, purses, and jewelry, and when she heard music, she would dance with no hesitation.

Vivian leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Crystal Ballew and Brittany Craigmiles; her sons, Dantee Craigmiles, Johnathan Craigmiles, and Edward Thompson; her granddaughters, Tatiyana, Tiya, Taniah, Aziyah, Amanda, and Dantiona; her grandsons, Amon and Brenden; great-grandsons, Rylo, Tae and Carlito; great-granddaughters, Honest and Uyluna; her sisters, Debres Thomas, Mary Gilbert, and Deborah Thomas; her brother, Joseph Thomas Sr.

Vivian was preceded in death by her brother, Cleophus Thomas Smith. Vivian also leaves a host of cousins nieces and nephews.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, on  Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 10:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
