It is with sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Virginia  Boyd Lightfoot (aka Bishop), age 89, of Newport, Kentucky,  who entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Covington,  Kentucky.   She was born on June 10, 1932, in Hazard, Kentucky.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Crossroads Community Church, 3500 Madison Road, Cincinnati  (45209).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Mary E. Smith Cemetery, 1120 Martin Luther King Blvd., Elsmere, Kentucky 41018.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
