Vinson Keith Bennett was born on July 15, 1956 in Cincinnati,Ohio to Vernon L. Bennett Sr. and Louetta Bennet which proceded him in death. Vinson was always a fun, loving, loyal person, He was very charismatic and strong-willed, he never met a stranger. He always showed loved to everyone. He had a boldness like no other, always straight to the point and if you were wrong he would be the first to let you know.But he would also be the first to try to talk you through difficult times and help you figure things out. Vinson loved his children, his wife and his family, he was always the protector even though he wasnt the oldest. Vinson had impecable strength even in his last days he fought to be "V" until the end. So hence the phrase "King Kong ain't got nothing on you Daddy! Vinson was one of the hottest D.J's around and the party literally didnt start till he walked in. Vinson loved to dress, znd there werent too many people around that didn't respect him because of his loyalty and the love he had shown to all he came across. Vinson was the strength, the truth and the light in our family and to his friends. He had a contagious personality and a smile that would brighten a room. "To know him was to love him". Vinson grew up in Madisonville. He loved to play football when he was younger. He was a Cincinnati Bengals fan, win or lose ,and loved to watch the game with family and friends. Vinson enjoyed playing pool,and even played baseball with the Madisonville braves in his youth. His favoite past time is playing dominoes or "Bones" as he would say, and cards. Vinson loved to ride motorcycles, but at any time you could catch him being the D.J still while listening to his favorite music. Every single person th.at Vinson has come in contact with have a lasting memory and no one will every forget the time they had with "V". Vinson was preceded in death by his father Vernon L. Bennett Sr. , his mother Louetta Bennett , grandmother Elizabeth Bennett, his brother Vernon L Bennett Jr.,sister Lavone Bennett,Mother-in-law Beverly Burnett, Grandson Christopher Brown, son-in-law Lamar Tamplin, nephew Maurice Bennett. Vinson was a loving father, brother , husband, grandfather, cousin and friend to all. He is survived by his lovely wife Sherry Burnett, whom never left his side till death done them part. 5 daughters Lavette, Tomeka{Maceo}, Vinneshia, Precious, Destyni. 2 sons Vinson, Davione, 2 step-daughters Tiffany, Beverly, 2 step-sons Lavelle, Kevin, 2 Sisters Antoinette, Lisa(Doug), 2 brothers James, Antonio, 3 sister-in-laws Kimberly(Tony}, Maria, Monique. 2 brother-in-laws Freddy(Lisa), Billy(Missy). Father-in-law Freddy Stone. 21 grandchildren, along with a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation is from 9:30 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the St. Mark AME Zion Church, 9208 Daly Road, Cincinnati (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Walker Funeral Home of Cincinnati is serving the Bennett family.
