Vincent Gregory Norment was born March 23, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Gwendolyn Ross and Arnold Norment to whom preceded (Arnold Norment) him in death.

Vincent graduated from Aiken High School in 1983. He attended the University of Cincinnati from 1984 to 1986. While attending UC, Vincent started working for Cincinnati Bell, where he spent over 15 years working as a customer service specialist.  After his employment with Cincinnati Bell, Vincent kept himself busy working in the hospitality industry which landed him his last job at Khrons Conservatory.

Vincent enjoyed meeting and talking to people. His conversations included subject matters from A to Z, but his passion was politics. During the Presidential election in November, Vincent fell badly ill, but he was determined to cast his vote, and that's exactly what he did. After he voted, he went to the hospital where he remained until he passed. Vincent enjoyed his life to the fullest. His radiant smile reflected the love he had for his family, friends, and life. His smile brought forth the light that was in him and drew many people to him.

After being together for 19 years, on June 29 2017, Vincent and Janice were joined in marriage. They enjoyed going to family gatherings, music concerts in the city, and always had the best concert seats available. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music, being with his family, and he loved to eat!  He loved talking to people and always kept an upbeat vibe in spite of his illness. Even in his darkest hour while being critically ill, he let his light shine through, and smiled, radiantly.  Now, Heaven has added another great light and his name is Vincent Gregory Norment.

Vincent departed this life on December 24, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Janice Johnson-Norment, three children; Aries (AKA Weez) Jenerra (William) Megan. Vincent's three children from his first marriage with Victoria Baker-Norment;  Koran Norment, Jasmine Norment, Lauren Baker. His grandchildren; Aniya, Jaryn, Darin, Tarin, William Jr. (AKA Lil man) Isabella, Nicole, Joshua, Caleb.

His mother Gwen Ross, and three siblings; Tony Norment, Wendy Norment, Jason Norment, his aunt Terri, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends, all of whom were very dear to his heart.

From Dad , Our spirit has lived an eternity which has allowed us to an undetermined amount of lives. In order for this to happen there has to be a continuous rebirth of our soul that relies on our direct relationship with the most high. In our never ending attempt to understand and embrace faith our vision will forever allow us to believe in the unseen. We (our family) would be the rare chosen. Due to this we have been given the unique blessing of INSIGHT. Use this God given power to center your PEACE. Much love to all....Dad.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Monday, January 4, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
