IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vincent Lamar
Haynes
March 26, 1963 – September 29, 2016
Vincent Lamar Haynes was born March 26, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the youngest of five children born to Frank Haynes, and the late Marjorie (Harris) Haynes. He departed this life on Thursday, September 29, 2016 to be with the Lord. Vincent accepted Christ into his life at an early age and was baptized at Zion Baptist Church. Vincent attended Cincinnati Public Schools, graduating from Woodward High School in 1981, and thereafter entered the United States Marine Corps, where he traveled extensively and honorably served his country. After completing his enlistment with the Marine Corp, he relocated to New Jersey and began his employment as an electrician with the United States Mint in Philadelphia. Vincent eventually returned to Cincinnati, and had a stellar career as an electrician, and worked for several major corporations. Vincent was a firm, but gentle spirit, whose influence will endure long after he is gone. He poured everything he had into his family, and imparted the sort of knowledge onto them that can only be gained through life experiences. Vincent was intelligent, politically aware, and spiritually grounded. He lived his life to the fullest, and did it his way. Vincent was married to Vivian Haynes (Furlow) for 17 years. Vincent had one precious biological son "Armand Haynes", whom he cherished and adored! Vincent also had a talented step-son, Eliot Xavier Rayford, whom he respected, and was very proud of. He was a "Marine" as well as a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all those who knew him. In his 53 years of life, Vincent was the life of the party, and was all about having fun with friends and family, and enjoying life! "Uncle or Unc" as he was affectionately called, was at his best when he was riding motorcycles, playing with his dogs, and entertaining his nieces and nephews. Vincent was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Haynes, and sister Freda Haynes. He was deeply loved by his entire family, and leaves behind to celebrate his life and cherish his fond memories: his wife, Vivian Haynes, the mother of his son Charna Walker, his son Armand Haynes of New Jersey, his step-son Eliot Xavier Rayford (Chelsey), three step-grandchildren, Landyn, Zoey, and Chrysett; dear father Frank Haynes of Cincinnati, OH, brothers: Darryl Brooks (Cora) of Lancaster, CA, Stephen Haynes (Jacquelyn) of Willingboro, NJ, and Tyrone Richardson of Cincinnati, OH; dear sister Teri Haynes of Cincinnati, OH. Nieces and Nephews: Dionne Pass (Jeff), Darrin "Bo" Walker (Erin), Donte Brooks (Gina), Arian Richardson, Stephanie Haynes, Darryl & Darnell Dukes, Kristina and Stephen Haynes; Uncle Tony Harris; Special cousins: Dwight "DC", Dorothy, and Dominica, best friend's Brian Patterson, and Tony Williams, and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Vincent, we love you, and already miss you dearly. Our lives will never be the same without you! Acknowledgements The family of Vincent Haynes, is indeed grateful to all who have expressed kind words and deeds during this time of sorrow. May the peace of God be with you, and please continue to keep us in your prayers Psalms 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
