Service: Friday, November 4, 2011 at 12 noon at Brown Chapel AME Church, 2804 Alms Place, Cincinnati 45206 with Rev. Elmer S. Martin, Pastor, Officiating.

Interment: Vine Street Hill Cemetery

Vincent Darnell Cox was born on May 21, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Martina N. Cox and Walter N. Burgess. He departed this life on October 28, 2011 with his loving family by his side at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Vincent was baptized at an early age.  He attended Hughes High School and worked until he became disabled.  He was a good son, very outgoing and well respected by those who knew and loved him.  He had a great love for sports and clothing.

Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Walter N. Burgess and a sister.

Vincent leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Martina N. Cox; son, kylan Foster; brother, Anthony Odeon; uncles, Leroy Burgess, Wallace Burgess, Tommy Burgess, Thomas Cox, and Harry Cox; aunts, Peggy Kendrick, Emily Cox, and Claudette Ramsey; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

Vincent touched the lives of many people with his outgoing spirit and kindness; and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
