Victor “Ricky” Johnson, age 67, passed away on March 21, 2026. Born on June 11, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ricky was known for his hardworking spirit, his presence, and the way he connected with people. He had a personality that left an impression—whether through conversation, laughter, or simply being himself.

Ricky dedicated several years working with Cincinnati Recreation and also spent time in highway maintenance.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Delores Johnson-Smith, and stepfather, Milton Smith, along with a host of family and friends who loved him dearly. He also shared special bonds with the Copelands, the Wares, and the Wilsons. Special Cousins Fred (Lois) & William (OLA)

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Joe Cook; twin brother, Vincent “Randy”; grandmother, Ora Lee Johnson “Mama”; aunt, Shirley Ann “Kicky”; and uncles Fred, Billy, and Johnny “Spunky.”

Though he is no longer with us, Ricky’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Walnut Hills Cemetery.
