Vicki Renae Brown 1960 - 2017 Vicki passed with peace and grace early morning on May 12, 2017. Vicki was dearly loved by her husband Mark, daughter, Danae and many friends and love ones. She is survived by her husband, Mark Brown, daughter, Danae, step sons Mark Jr and Brian, grandson, Kendrick, brother Elmer III, sister Cheryl and father, Elmer Jr. and his lovely wife Shirley. Vicki was born in Davenport, IA and a graduate from Iowa State where she earned an industrial engineering degree and play collegiate volleyball. After college, she worked for Proctor and Gamble for 27 yrs. in a variety of roles. In 2008 Vicki retired and focused on being a devoted and loving wife, supporting her husband in his career endeavors. Vicki also enjoyed spending time mentoring our youth. She worked several years tutoring math to inner city children and was a volunteer for the Big Brother/Big Sister organization since 2009. Giving back to the community was one of her passions. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose greatest passion was helping others, while spreading joy and laughter. She leaves us rich in memories Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on May 20, 2017, at Allen Temple AME Church. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
