Vernon Lee Hicks was born February 9, 1959 to Lucille and Lloyd Hicks in Covington, KY. He was the first born of eight children. He was a pick you up when your feeling down kind of person.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lucille Hicks (Roberts),sister Brenda Groneck and son Joe Ross.

He leaves to mourn his passing his father Lloyd Hicks, daughter Misty Stoppelwerth, son Dylan Hicks, brothers Ben Hicks, Donald (Jammie) Hicks, John (Lisa) Hicks, Chris Hicks, sisters Tina (Jeff) Jackson, Pam (Tony) Simons, grandchildren Chandlyr Hamilton, Brayden Ross, Palmyr and Parker Stoppelwerth, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and an abundance of friends that he considered family.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, KY.
