Vance R. Betts, age 61, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born Monday, December 8, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He passed away at his home on March 3, 2014. Vance graduated from Hughes High School. He lived most of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio, during this time he was blessed with two daughters. Vance loved to cook. He was the connoisseur of cooking in the family. He could taste every ingredient and seasoning in any dish of food. At family gatherings, he always had to know what was in your recipe and tell you what was missing. Vance leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Chalies Jinks of Cincinnati, OH and Brigitte (Mariston) Marrow of Raleigh, NC; father, David Betts, Sr.; siblings, David Betts, Jr. (deceased), Charnee Smith (Landon Sr.), Darrell Betts, Sr. (Donna); five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
