IN LOVING MEMORY OF

ULYSSES ANTHONY GRAY 'C' Ulysses (Aka) Anthony Gray also known by his love ones and friends as "C" was born in Star South Carolina to the late Hattie Idell Robinson and David Gillard. He departed his life on Monday December 14, 2015 at the Drake Center. Ulysses left South Carolina in 1962 and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. During that time he met Geraldine Dyer who he married and to that union two children were born. Ulysses was a member of the United States Army, after serving his time in the service he returned home and worked for The National Distillery until his time of retirement. Ulysses was full of life and strived to make people feel better with his unique sense of humor that had a way of making people laugh. It's amazing how everyone who came in contact with him remember him for their own special reason. For instances he gave all his nieces and nephews special names such as; Fat Fat, Batman, Turkey, Chump, etc. During the time that his health started to fail he would get on the phone and call almost everyone he knew, "Everyday". That type of personality was what made him the person that everyone grew to love. He will definitely be missed by all because in their hearts there will always be a memory of the person that everyone knew as "C". He leaves to cherish his memory: Jackie Valines his loving and devoted companion of 30 plus years, children; Kitty Hughes, Anthony Gray Jr. Four grandchildren; Atiya, Ryan, Danelle and Jay, all of Cincinnati, OH, four sisters; Evelyn Dillingham and Essie Mae Robinson of Cincinnati, OH and Jennifer Ivy and Diann Thomas of Detroit, MI, four brothers; Charles Robinson (Gladys) of Cincinnati OH, Bennie Robinson (Louise) of Atlanta GA, Joe Robinson (Leslie deceased) of Madison KY, James Larry Robinson Sr. (Regina) of Cincinnati OH and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephew, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
