Tyrone Tidwell was born on April 20, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was one of eleven children born to Christine Wilder Tidwell and Floyd Tidwell.

Tyrone graduated from Aiken High School and later began his career at Gibson Greeting Cards, where he eventually retired.

Tyrone enjoyed spending time with his family, skating, playing the guitar, and traveling. He always dreamed of moving to New York one day.

On Monday, April 6, 2026, Tyrone departed this life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christine and Floyd Tidwell; two brothers, Victor Tidwell and Cecil Tidwell; three sisters, Paula Tidwell, Catherine Edmonds, and Cassandra Tidwell Anderson; and his brother-in-law, Otis Griffin.

He leaves behind many memories and shared joy with his two sons, Anthony Faulk Sr. and Dante Parrish Sr.; two brothers, Greg Tidwell and James Tidwell; three sisters, Barbara (Terry) Coleman, Octavia Tidwell, and Celestine Tidwell Griffin; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Tyrone is remembered by many extended family members, including a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
