Tryphena  Williams September 2, 1955 - September 6, 2022

Tryphena Arlette Williams  was blessed this earth on September 2,1955. She was born to Walter and Anna Collins. She was the second youngest of 13 children. Tryphena was only 67 when she passed on 9/6/2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tryphena gave life to 2 beautiful children Qiana, and Qian. She went to Hughes High school and graduated in 1973.  She went to hair school for a while. She then got her CDL and drove the school bus for children. She then started working at the US post office where she worked for over 20 years. Tryphena was a child of God and continued to devote her life to him as she helped those around her. She was very well known, funny, giving and caring. She blessed and cherished all of those around her. Tryphena  unexpectedly departed on September 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, son Richard, Little Richard and several siblings and a brother in law.  Tryphena leaves to cherish in her love and memories her Ex-Husband James Williams Jr. Children: Qiana, Qian. April, Jazzma, and James III.  Grandchildren: Qi'an Qi'Juan, Qi'Mari, Qai, Qierstin, Miyan, Qi'Niyah, Qi'asha, Caydence, and Isaiah. She had 11 other grandchildren as well as 12 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind her sisters Alona Collins, Regina Proffitt, Bianca Collins ,10 in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She made a host of friends throughout her lifetime. She was always willing to help ANYBODY! She gave them a safe place to rest. She inspired and encouraged people wherever she went.

Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., on  Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
