Trinetta was born to Nan Day Bess (Fears) and Howard McConnell on June 29, 1943. She was the only girl born to both Nan and Howard. Trinetta grew up to be a very beautiful young lady. She became a mother at the age of 17 by the time she was 28, she had four boys and one girl. Trinetta was a very strong and independent woman and obtained her GED in 1976. She attended college to become a Socialoigst and made the Deans List. She completed two years of college in Socialogy. Trinetta would always say, 'Even though others try to influence you, aways think for yourself.' She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1994 which was a cancerous. They removed the tumor in June of 1995 and at the time gave Trinetta six months to live. She proved the doctors wrong and lived 20 years longer. She was then called home to her father Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Her mission on earth has been completed. She is now joined with her mother Nan Day; father Howard McConnell, grandson Tre' Vaughn Everett; and her granddaughter, Morrina Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Antoinette Bess (Irvin), Samuel Bess, Larry (Londa) Bess (Johnson), Rodney Bess (Marion) and Shaughn Bess (Latrese); grandchildren, Virginetta Bess, Michael Bess, To'Ronnie Bess, Devin White, Samuel Jackson, Cassandra Elliott, Candice Elliott, Christopher Elliott, Tanisha Johnson, Brian Johnson, Jamar Johnson, Latoya Johnson, Marloe Johnson, Larry Johnson Jr., Dawnya Lattimore, Tobbie Palmer, Fred Lattimore, Rodney Bess Jr., Terrell Bess, Lundyn, Shavonne Bess and Shaughn Bess Jr.; siblings, William Day, Howard McConnell Jr., Stephan McConnell, Diane Strickland, Patricia Bess; 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great grand-daughter, Jamiyla Marie Bess; an abundance of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Trinetta M. Bess, age 70, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born June 29, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2014 at James Temple Church of God In Christ, 1116 Lincoln Avenue, Cincinnati (45206) with visitation from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
