IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Treasure Aika
Thomas
May 3, 2003 – June 9, 2025
On May 3rd, 2003, God blessed Tanasha Carter and Hansen Thomas with the most beautiful baby girl who became forever known as Treasure Akia Thomas. On the morning of June 9th, 2025, God called His beautiful child home.
Treasure was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. Nunu, as she was affectionately called by family, profoundly touched the lives of many with her unique sense of humor, her warmth, creativity, curiosity, and sociably outgoing nature. Treasure was a generous friend and possessed an uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone. She possessed a bright mind, disarming wit, and an empathetic heart. She had a rare gift of building community wherever she found herself, always smiling.
Born and raised in Downtown Cincinnati Ohio, Treasure graduated from Hughes high school in 2021. A spirited former cheerleader with a radiant smile and big dreams, she was determined to make her mark on the world. Treasure had a passion for beauty and style and aspired to become a cosmetologist. She was also actively pursuing a career in real estate-always motivated to grow, learn, and build a future for herself.
Treasure had a heart full of compassion. She worked closely with individuals with disabilities and found true joy in helping others. She especially loved working with children, whose laughter and energy brought her happiness. Her love for life, her community, and the vibrant Cincinnati nightlife made her unforgettable to all who knew her. Treasure's bright soul, energy, radiant smile, and kind heart will never be forgotten.
Treasure is survived by: Parents: Tanasha (Tony), Hansen (Donnelle), Grandfather: Ralph Carter III, Siblings: Cashmer'e, Princess, Hansen Jr., Da' Montay, Kanye, Anthony, Kassius, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Cousins, family, and friends.
Treasure was predeceased by: Grandmothers: Betty Thomas, Mary J. Thomas, Uncles: Ralph IV, Ricky, and Donell.
