Tracey Lynn Murrell was born to the late Robert E. Murrell Jr. and Irene M. Murrell on September 17, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio. On Monday, February 16, 2026, at 12:10 p.m., God called her home to dwell with Him eternally.

Tracey resided in Hollydale, a close-knit, family-oriented community. She was a proud graduate of Scarlet Oaks/Princeton High School (Class of 1987), where she was loved, respected, and popular among her peers and close friends.

Tracey gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, where she enjoyed serving as a Candy Striper during her younger years. Tracey loved the Lord and was a good and faithful servant until she was called home.

Tracey was a devoted daughter, sister, and mother. She began her career at Springdale Cleaners in Springdale, Ohio, and later started a new career at SBM Management Services. While at SBM Management Services, Tracey was the pride and joy of the GE Aerospace–Avon facility. She worked closely under the leadership of Ryan Weber but also worked with the facilities managers, Jenna Filmore and Edward Even, along with other representatives throughout the campus. Tracey recently celebrated her 10-year milestone with SBM, providing the best service in the business. She was well respected and loved among her co-workers. Outside of work, Tracey was her parents’ primary caregiver.

Tracey was known for her beautiful smile and charming personality. She was an avid basketball fan who loved watching March Madness. Tracey enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, along with her nieces and nephews; she especially enjoyed attending cheerleading competitions.

Tracey was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Murrell Jr. She is survived by her mother, Irene M. Murrell; her son, Marquie D. Murrell; her granddaughter, Trinity L. Murrell; and her siblings: Barbara Gail Penn, Anthony Murrell, Sonya (Eric) Daniels, and Gwendolyn (Michael) Moman. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Monica Penn, Jordan Penn, Ta’Ress (Brittany) Daniels, Eric Daniels Jr., Sonisha (Christopher) Coleman, and MiKayla R. Moman.

She leaves to cherish her memory a host of close family members, great-nephews, great-nieces, and a lifelong friend who is like family, Sandy Glenn-Williams.
