Tony Shelton passed away May 25, 2014 at the age of 55. he was born on November 14, 1958 in Cincinnati, OH. Tony Shelton was born November 14, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Elnora Wilson and the late Marion Shelton. Tony had a loving and fulfilling life and departed this earth on May 15, 2014. Tony spent his early childhood growing up in Corryville with his siblings. As one of fourteen children, he spent a great deal of time with family, which was very important to him. Tony began his work career at age 13, and did not stop until his death. Of his many jobs, most of them were in the maintenance field. Tony's parents had a professional cleaning company where he became a master at carpet cleaning and floor finishing. He worked for a very long period of time at the Cincinnati Drum Company. His most recent employment was at the Sycamore Plaza in Kenwood where he was highly respected. In addition, Tony had his own professional cleaning company, Professional Clean Team. Tony was a product of Cincinnati Public Schools. He attended Columbia Elementary, Merry Middle School and Woodward High School. He also played baseball and was quite a pitcher. Tony spent his spare time shopping, traveling, listening to all of his favorite music, attending numerous concerts, and watching the latest movies. He and his wife, Lisa, spent a lot of time being physically active. They had memberships at Lean Life and rode their bikes often at Lunken Airport. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Marion Shelton, stepfather Jimmy Lee Wilson, Jr., sister, Willa Wilson, and grandson Leon Madden. Tony leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife Lisa, his mother, Elnora; seven daughters, Toinette Baldwin (Michael), LaShonna Baldwin, Tiffany Shelton, LaTrice George, Thelma Little, Alexis Little, M. Kayla Royal, and stepchildren, Jaelynne and Jarin Johnson; siblings, Marvin (Regina), Shirley, Carol, Althzan (Claude), Jimmie (Essie), Michael (LaTaunia), Karen, Thomas, Alonzo, Pet Irene (Keith), Renita (Tamika), Otha, Regina McClellon, and Renae Jones; fifteen grandchildren, brother-in-law, Glynn Johnson (Jennifer), mother-in-law, Nollene Johnson, father-in-law, Glynn Johnson, a loving host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
