Toni R. Edwards was born on March 18, 1955 to Dorothy Campbell and the late Robert Campbell. Toni was the middle child of three girls. Toni, age 59, departed this life to join our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 10, 2014 peacefully and unexpectedly. Toni was the first black cheerleader and captain at Mt. Healthy High School. She attended the University of Cincinnati and later worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation as a Marketing Sales Representative involving travel. During her life, she suffered three strokes and most recent a car accident. But with her strong passion for life she survived. Even with her disability Toni kept that gleam in her eyes because she was optimistic with inner joy and her love of family. She was a determined woman who gracefully touched many lives over the years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Everybody Toni met was touched by her inner spirit. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. Toni will not be forgotten and will always be loved. She will dearly be missed by her mother, Dorothy Campbell; son, Antonio Edwards (Amanda); daughter, Lakisha Edwards; grandchildren, James Jayden Christian (10), Elijah Tristian (8), Jaxson Byron Jayson (20 months), sister, Yvonne Coale; brother-in-law, Barney Coale; sister and caregiver, Darlene Stewart and a host of other relatives. Toni R. Edwards, age 59, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014, in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born March 18, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Kennedy Hghts., 6201 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati (45213) with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
