IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Todd Juan
Greenlea
June 16, 1963 – July 2, 2025
Todd Juan Greenlea was born on June 16, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Rev. Aaron E. Greenlea and Betty Jane Greenlea. He was the fourth of six children in a family rooted in faith, love, and strength. On July 2, 2025, Todd was called home to Glory, leaving behind a legacy of character, compassion, and deep belief.
From a young age, Todd accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized under the leadership of Pastor L.V. Booth. His faith remained unwavering throughout his life. Whether seated in his favorite chair reading his Bible or attending Bible study regularly, Todd's walk with Christ was evident to all who knew him.
Todd began his education at Bond Hill Elementary, completed it at St. Agnes, and graduated from Purcell High School. He continued his studies at Walsh University, majoring in English. With a heart for service, Todd enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 30, 1986. He completed Basic Training at Fort Dix and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as a Multichannel Communications Systems Operator, serving a tour of duty in Europe before being honorably discharged.
After his military service, Todd worked in a variety of professions where his creativity and dedication shone. He worked with youth while employed at Talbert House. Later, he was employed at Corrflex Manufacturing as a printer, where his design work ranged from tissue boxes to billboards—earning him numerous employee recognition awards. He later worked in the funeral industry, bringing both professionalism and empathy to grieving families. For the last decade of his life, Todd served in maintenance for Scarlet and Grey, working with the Indian Hill, Finneytown, and Winton Woods school districts.
Todd was a gifted conversationalist whose words could bridge gaps between strangers. Whether speaking with a homeless individual or the CEO of a company, he left an impression. He was known for quick wit, amazing humor, his ability to impersonate anyone, deep knowledge politics, and a love of hip hop and gospel music. He was an avid athlete, playing football and soccer through high school and college. He had a strong appreciation for comic books and was a devoted viewer of programs like Meet the Press. His intellect, honor, and dignity were evident in everything he did.
Todd was a devoted family man. He was the proud father of Auvriel Greenlea, Alexis Greenlea, and TyJuan Greenlea, and was forever bonded to his brothers Aaron J. Greenlea, Robert J. Greenlea, and Shawn J. Greenlea. On July 23, 2005, he married Miriam Bethesda Allmond, with whom he built a life full of faith, laughter, and love. He also embraced his bonus son, Christopher Baker, and cherished his role as grandfather to Essence Reign Baker.
Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Aaron and Betty Jane Greenlea; his eldest brother, Marvin J. Greenlea (Jan); his beloved sister, Angela Denise Greenlea; mother-in-law, Beverly Clay; father-in-law, Sam H. Allmond; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Fowler and Diana "Leah" Allmond; nephew, Darnae Allmond; and great-nephew, Darnae Allmond Jr.
He leaves behind to honor and celebrate his memory: his loving wife, Miriam; daughters, Auvriel and Alexis; sons, TyJuan and Christopher; brothers, Aaron, Robert, and Shawn (Ketrell); granddaughter, Essence Reign; sisters-in-law, Natalie, Michelle, Candace (Byron), and Shantil (Michael); brothers-in-law, Michael, Arric, Vaughn (Dawn), and Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will continue to cherish his memory and carry forward his legacy of faith, laughter, and love.
