Theresa J. Brown Coleman was born on December 27, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at Cincinnati General Hospital to the late Solomon J. Brown, Sr. and Paulene C. Bowen. Theresa was the fourth of twelve children.

Theresa was a devoted, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was free-hearted, and she loved her brothers and sisters.

Theresa was preceded in death by her oldest son, Baron; two brothers, Louie S. Brown and Wesley P. Brown; and three sisters, Carolyn, Hazel, and Debbie S. Lipscomb.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: four children, Barrell, Baresa "Recie" (Osinachi Obi), Treva (Vades Akwagoh), and Valgene "Bink" Coleman, Jr.; four brothers, Sonny "Uncle Bono", Solomon J. Brown, Jr. (Kim), William Henry Brown, and Timothy Brown; two sisters, Catherine "Cat" and Paulette Brown; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
