It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Thelma Elizabeth Phillips, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on Wednesday, February 25, 1942, in Selma, Alabama.

Thelma attended Withrow High School.  After high school, Thelma took on several jobs and activities throughout the community.  Eventually, Thelma began a long career with Clovernook Home and School for the Blind.   She worked there in several roles, mainly in line production and service. 

Thelma was preceded in death by her daughter Phyllis King, Sammi Phillips and son Alexander Phillips.  

She leaves to celebrate her life, daughters Berthha McCoy (John), Geraldine Jones, Dorothea Phillips, Kathy Phillips and sons, Vernon Phillips, Antonio Phillips, and Michael Phillips.  She leaves a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other family, and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
