Thelma Elizabeth Glover was born December 21, 1930, to John and Eva Dillard Sr. in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the beloved wife of the late Abie GloverSr. Thelma was a 66 year resident of Avondale. She spent the majority of her life caring for the two great loves of her life, her husband, and her children. Not only did Thelma graduate from high school, she went on to complete night classes in computer science in her mid-fifties at the University of Cincinnati. Thelma learned about Christ at the old Antioch Baptist Church in the West End. Later she became a member of the Avondale Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1986. She readily shared her love for Christ to anyone. Thelma was a well read student of history and passed her thirst for knowledge to her children, who will deeply miss her. She was a wonderful wife, Mother and well-respected member of the community. Telma leaves to mourn her passing; son Mohamed Ali Bey, daughters Juanita, Geraldine, Deborah Ann, Stephanie, Denise Renee, Mia Michelle, and Kimberly Rebecca. Two children preceded her in death, Abie Glover Jr.'and Hattie Mae Glover. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at the Walker Funeral Home - North Avondale , 3939 Reading Road , Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
