Terry  Allen Mahaffey October 8, 1959 - October 6, 2022

It is with sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Terry  Allen Mahaffey, age 62, of Cincinnati, Ohio,  who entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 6, 2022, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.   He was born on October 8, 1959, in West Union, Ohio.

Terry Allen Mahaffey was a loving son, husband, brother, father, and grandfather. He left this world on October 6, 2022, at 62 years of age after a 45-year battle with type one diabetes. Terry was born on October 8th, 1959 in West Union, Ohio to Charles E. Mahaffey and Connie S. Huser.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother Connie Huser and his stepmother Brenda Mahaffey. He is survived by his father Charles Mahaffey; wife Darlena; his sons and daughter: Charles and Zachary Mahaffey and Amanda (Jesse) Jones; siblings: Estena Burton (Louis Evans), Theresa Meadows (David), Gayla Broxterman (Todd), Tonya Countryman (Eric), Jill Cox (Jimmy), Janet Miller (Gary), and Jimmy Simmons (Michelle); as well as six grandchildren; twelve nephews and nieces; and eight great nephews and nieces.

Terry married the love of his life, Darlena Volk Mahaffey, on November 28, 1984. That same year, Terry graduated with his Associate's Degree in Applied Business and Business Management from the University of Cincinnati.

Terry was a computer whiz and a talented guitarist. He was incredibly intelligent and loved the challenge of a good chess game, which almost always ended in his opponent's defeat. Whether he was Dad, Honey, Papaw, Son, Bubs, or Goathead, he was loved and will be dearly missed.

Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12 noon,  on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12 noon.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 11825 Pippin Road, Colerain Township, Ohio 45231.
