Tennie Lee Batchelor was born to Benjamin and Lizzie Batchelor on May 17, 1956. She was born in Mercer, Tennessee, but soon after, moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the youngest of six girls. She was always the one that followed all the rules, dedicated to any task given to her. She carried this out throughout her life. She took care of her mom while she was ill, making sure she took her medications on time and kept all of her appointments. She was very organized and polite, basically, a very nice person. She joined Southern Baptist Church in the seventies. She served on the Usher Board and was secretary in her Sunday School class. She was very devoted to her church. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Ben and Lizzie Batchelor; sisters, Fannie Hopgood and Virgie Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories, three sisters, Gladys (Luther) Cooper - Denmark, Tennessee, Belinda Walker - Los Angeles, California and Erlene Edmond - Cincinnati, Ohio. Tennie has a very special friend that came to care for her while she was ill, William Crawley. She also leaves to cherish many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Friday, June 1, 2018, at the Southern Baptist Church, 3556 Reading Road, Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens, 1600 Glendale Milford Road , Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
